Directed and edited by Jourdy Pridgen and Vylette McKnight, this title sequence reimagines Euphoria in Rahway, New Jersey, focusing on the aesthetic journeys the characters go through. Built with live-action footage and bold typographic edits, the sequence uses transitions, and on-screen text to introduce the mood and characters without giving away the story. Jourdy is also the sole actor in the film, performing as a stand-in for the full cast and shifting tone and presence to reflect different experiences. Set in real local spaces, the piece brings the intensity of Euphoria down to something familiar and personal.
